"Mr. Robot" Season 3 was renewed in August 2016 and the question can finally be answered if Elliot Alderson survived the gunshot.

According to Bustle, it has been reported that "Mr. Robot" Season 3 will return to the small screens on October 2017. Aside from Anderson's (Rami Malek) fate, the mystery if the hack can be reversed will also be answered. On the other hand, the fsociety is getting into a lot of trouble as authorities are hunting them down.

Fans can recall that Darlene (Carly Chaikin) is already on the target list and eventually,  it won't be long before Trenton (Sunita Mani) and Mobley's (Azhar Khan) names are dragged. In Season 3, Angela Moss (Portia Doubleday) is also expected to explain why she betrayed Anderson.

Series creator Sam Esmail previously told Entertainment Weekly, "I think the one big one will be 'What happened to Angela? Has she really been flipped? Or is she now playing some other motivation?' And I think that’s great." Esmail added how they are aware of fans' frustration whenever Moss' motivations are left in the dark. However, they take this as something that can increase curiosity to her role.

Moreover, Moss was earlier unveiled as part of the Whiterose (B.D. Wong) organization. She participated over the course of taking down E Corp. Also, Washington Township plant played a major part in the decision of Doubleday's character.

While she appears as a traitor, avid followers of the show believe that Moss can explain everything to Anderson in Season 3. The upcoming installment was supposed to be released in summer 2017. Unfortunately, the show's main protagonist has a tight filming schedule for his upcoming movie.

Furthermore, the series already started to shoot the ten episodes of "Mr. Robot" Season 3. As of now, fans have to wait for another five months to see the critically acclaimed series' return.
