Apple could be focusing most of its effort on the upcoming iPhone 8, though it might be sharing the limelight with the rumored new 10.5-inch iPad to be revealed in the June WWDC 2017 event. Along with it, more information about the Siri Speaker also adds up to Apple's lineup of innovative offerings this June.

As reported at The Verge, Apple is going to revealing three new iPad models this year and based on KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, the new iPad models are highly likely to be making their appearances in the Worldwide Developer's Conference to be held in San Jose Convention Center. However, the speculation points out that it is also likely to be showcasing the 9.7-inch variants, which could possibly have a larger display area and with smaller-sized bezels.

The other two iPad models are believed to be the 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch variants, which matches both the iPad Pro and the iPad Pro 2. The actual release date for the three new rumored iPad models happens to be forecasted to be in August 2017 – a few months ahead of the iPhone 8 or even the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus variants.

However, besides the rumored new iPad models, Apple's upcoming major Amazon Echo and Microsoft Cortana competitor might finally be prime for a grand reveal. Kuo's speculation suggests that there's a 50/50 chance that folks from Apple will be showcasing the rumored speaker. The latest report regarding the smart speaker suggests that it will be having a touch panel display, though there is yet to be any clue whether any of the prior rumors are almost plausible. The touch-screen could be Apple's early answer to Amazon's tried and tested, but periodically updated Amazon Echo.

Besides the new iPad models and the Siri Speaker, it is also believed that Apple will take the chance to reveal several major software updates for iOS 11, macOS 10.13 and newer versions of watchOS and tvOS. This could be expected given that the WWDC 2017 proper mainly focuses on software updates.
