HBO previously confirmed that “Westworld” will be coming back for a new second season. However, fans will not be getting Season 2 until 2018.

Creator Jonathan Nolan has reportedly revealed in late 2016 that they will make the second season more ambitious just like the famous HBO fantasy series “Game of Thrones.” He also cited the things they got from the show and how they aspire to also make “Westworld” as a show to take the footsteps of the famous series.

“”Game of Thrones” kind of has written the book on production value for television, and how to make something that has all the scope and scale of cinema for a TV show. They also have an advantage of having [George R.R. Martin's] amazing books, or had it for the first six seasons,” Nolan said. “We knew for ourselves that going forward, the production is enormously challenging and ambitious, and so is the writing. So we said very early on that we wouldn't be able to turn this around every year, and knowing full well that that's been a time-honored tradition in television.”

The creator of the show also emphasized the script writing of the series. In fact, just because a fan guessed the plot details of the second season, the entire story will be reconstructed.

In a report by Independent, HBO’s “Westworld” is currently on its script-writing stage for Season 2 but since Reddit has found out the episode three’s twist of the upcoming season, the team has to remove it from the show’s narrative.

Nolan revealed to the reporters at theth annual Paleyfest in Los Angeles that he finds it very amazing and gratifying knowing that fans guess the twist and exchange theories but he also finds it annoying.

Despite this, Nolan said that the new written plot twist for “Westworld” Season 2 will be exciting. Executive Producer Robert Patino also revealed to the fans that the story will “f*ck with metaphysical at some point.”
