What Lee Dong Wook Has Been Up to After Successfully Starring as Grim Reaper in ‘Goblin’
Lee Dong Wook just held a broadcast live to update his fans about his activities after the success of tvN’s “Goblin.”
The actor, who played the fan favorite character of Grim Reaper, said the past couple of months have been hectic for him. In fact, LeeDong Wook has been going places to interact with his supporters through “For My Dear” fan meeting shows.
"I held a fan meeting in Singapore during the month of April, followed by a fan meeting in Hong Kong in early May. I had such a great time with everyone," he said as per Allkpop. "To be honest, I do get exhausted after working restlessly.”
Despite his packed schedule, the Hallyu star found relief from his fans who have been showing him love and support since he started his acting career.
“Chatting with everyone like this fills me with energy. Ever since “Goblin” ended, I've been working nonstop. I look forward to everyone's support," he told the viewers.
Lee Dong Wook made his debut with “MBC Best Theater” in 1999. He rose to fame for his role in “My Girl’ which earned amass popularity from K-drama fans all over Asia.
When asked about how he handles his emotions while acting, the 35-year-old star said he tries to live like his character in order to immerse himself into the story. He added doing so makes it easier for him to feel what a certain character is going through.
Aside from his ongoing tour and promotional activities, Lee Dong Wook has yet to confirm his next acting project.
Meanwhile, the actor shared he is still in contact with his “Goblin” co-stars despite their busy schedules. But aside from their constant communication in their group chat, the cast members have not seen each other since the hit drama concluded three months ago.
