After the initial rumors about AMD's upcoming powerhouse GPU, the AMD RX Vega, making its first appearance in the Computex event, several sources finally confirmed that it will be showcased this coming May 30th. Along with it will be the X399 Platform for HEDT processors and a bunch of other updates and new products.

The official confirmation from AMD was recently reported at Wccftech and after the long wait, consumers will finally get to see how the AMD RX Vega fares in real-life gaming application this coming May 31st at the Computex Event to be held in Taipei. AMD's official announcement is as follows;

“Computex 2017 is fast approaching so we wanted to share a save-the-date for the AMD press conference, scheduled for May 31st from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.”

“Hosted by AMD CEO, Dr. Lisa Su and other key AMD executives, you will have the opportunity to hear more about the latest products and leading-edge technologies coming from AMD in 2017. The past year has seen AMD bringing innovation and competition back to the high-performance desktop market with the release of Ryzen™ processors and we look forward to providing new details on 2017 products and the ecosystems, both OEM and channel, that will support them”

The Radeon RX Vega will be the next flagship GPU from AMD after the two-year gap. This GPU is going to deliver significantly better performance with HBM2 memory with an entirely new architecture. With 8 GB of HBM2 and 2048-bit bus along with a 12.5 TFLOPS horsepower, the GPU is expected to be one of the fastest that could even be on par with Nvidia's GTX 1080.

Besides AMD's Radeon RX Vega, other exhibitors in the upcoming Computex event include Nvidia, Intel, Microsoft, Dell and other major companies from the US and locally. The event will run from May 30th up to June 3rd.
