Will the Single Player Campaign for 'Star Wars: Battlefront 2' be Like 'Titanfall 2' and its Jump from the Original Game?
The first game was already a blast to play and the much awaited “Star Wars: Battlefront 2” might just significantly expand the entire experience with its sought of feature; single player campaign. Will it be a similar experience when people set their sights on “Titanfall 2” after jumping from the original “Titanfall,” which was purely a multiplayer experience?
“Star Wars” and “Titanfall” might be like apples and oranges that don't get a lot of sense, being compared, but there are several factors to look at, which might make an interesting parity between the games. “Star Wars: Battlefront 2,” just like how “Titanfall 2” is, or in this case, have become, both have one new major feature and this is the single player campaign.
When EA officially announced “Star Wars: Battlefront 2,” a lot of fans attention were focused on the single player campaign. Just like “Titanfall 2,” the single player experience was one of the biggest gripes of some players who found the first games a bit lacking, especially in the narrative department.
In such reports/reviews similar to Wired, “Titanfall 2” was an entirely new game that carried the core mechanics of the first game that made it appetizing. It may have focused on a particular niché, but the single player campaign increased its reach to a broader stroke of audiences, making the game more well-known, eventually affecting the first game's sales in the process.
Hopefully, “Star Wars: Battlefront 2” and its single player campaign would have the same effect, though a lot of faith can be cast on the game's shoulder. Compared to the amount of single player “Star Wars” games to the multiplayer ones, most of the solitary gaming experiences are nothing short of amazing. The upcoming game could simply assure fans and even newcomers to the game series that there's going to be something to enjoy for every kind of player.
"Star Wars: Battlefront 2" is already available for pre-order at EA's official page. Those who will opt for the Deluxe Edition will also get a number of exclusive access to certain items and would even get the game earlier in November.
