After releasing his latest fourth studio album entitled “Damn,” Kendrick Lamar has paved way to claiming his legacy and fans even think he is the greatest rapper of all time, maybe even better than Eminem.

Dubbed as the GOAT as he was considered as the greatest rapper of all time, Eminem stands above most rappers in history. However, a report claimed that a radio personality named Peter Rosenberg sparked the issue that Kendrick Lamar has dethroned Eminem for that most coveted spot.

"Best rapper who's ever lived. There's not a person who can rap on planet earth better than Kendrick Lamar. Eminem can rap as well. Nas can rap as well," he said.

After the radio personality’s declaration, Twitter users and fans are feuding and debating over whether Eminem or Kendrick Lamar is the greatest rapper of all time.

“Why is Kendrick being compared with Eminem? To me, both are very good. But one's a king while the other one, a god,” Twitter user @sire_liljosh shared his thoughts.

“Kendrick Lamar has stolen 2017, but Eminem is about to reclaim his throne #Damn,” said another Twitter user. “Kendrick is a great artist but his music has no replay value. Right up there with Eminem in that sense. I know the truth hurts,” wrote another. Some tweets include they are negative that Eminem will keep his throne.

Kendrick Lamar was known for his stage name K-Dot and started gaining local attention which earned him his spot in TDE record label. He began gaining more attention and recognition after he released his “Overly Dedicated” in 2010. He won seven Grammy Awards throughout his career. Meanwhile, Eminem has been considered as the best-selling artist of the 2000s in US. He has garnered 10 number-one albums in Billboard 200 and Rolling Stone ranked him as the 83rd Greatest Artists of All Time and dubbed him as the “King of Hip Hop.”
